This is a poem that I wrote of the top of my head. I hope you like it. comment on it and tell me how you think it is.
Cheers fill the entire yard
American flags are waving in the air
There is a smile of pride on every face
Suddenly, the cheers become deafening
He has entered.
Hands are flown together as he reaches the podium
He clears his throat and silence falls
The speech is clear and well thought out
A look of hope and inspiration come amongst all the human faces
The speech is done
All silence is broken
The cheers are full of life
New hope is amongst all
A new year has come
New life, new faces, new inspiration
A new president
A new out look
A new hope until
The next inauguration
